Adding a contrast vignette is easier than you might think in FCPX.Vignette’s are one of the easiest and most effective ways to make a video clip “pop”. However, when done incorrectly vignettes can make your video look very amateur. Banding happens when a gradient isn’t able to correctly feather between two colors or pieces of video. The result is a very choppy and “low-res” looking piece of video.
